Mt. Helix Academy is a WASC accredited school and I am proud to say that, based on their very extensive site review of our program in 2012, 2018, and 2024 WASC awarded us their highest level of accreditation, one attained by very few schools.
We provide our students a safe and very positive school in which our faculty is committed to implementing instructional methods and materials that have been scientifically validated for effectiveness. You can find out more about our methods on this website.
We teach the skills and knowledge necessary for our students to be high academic achievers, critical thinkers, and enthusiastic, self-managed learners. We also teach amazing visual arts skills, music and performing arts skills, and language skills. I am especially proud that we teach our students to be likeable to others, to be good friends, and to be highly ethical. Our implementation of the Second Step social-emotional learning curriculum at all grades enables our students to master the skills necessary for their future success.
