Students can bring a lunch or buy one
There are two options for lunch on most school days, with a special option on Fridays. Parents can choose the option they desire for their child(ren) by filling out and submitting the forms available above.
1. Students can bring their own lunch to school. However, the school has no provision for warming food, so previously warmed food will need to be brought to school in a container that keeps it warm.
2. Students can obtain a hot lunch from Ki’s School Lunch program, which provides a lunch program for Mt. Helix Academy on campus, Mondays through Fridays. To order hot lunch through Ki’s, go to their website, https://kis.naturallunches.com and create an account for your child. Once you have created an account, you can then order lunches through Ki’s.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will not be offering Friday Pizza Lunch through our PTG. You may order hot lunch through Ki’s School Lunch.
3. On Fridays, Mt. Helix Academy’s Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) sponsors a pizza lunch. The students love it, parents love it, and the proceeds support PTG activities on behalf of the school. Please click here to view the lunch form on the “Handbook & Forms” page.
Volunteer for Pizza Lunch
PTG’s Friday Pizza Lunch is a lot more fun for our kids when we have all the help we need. Please volunteer for an hour or so of your time. If you would like to volunteer to help out with Pizza Lunch, contact Mehdi Benabdeljalil via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, Pizza Lunch Coordinator.
