Get Ready
Mt. Helix Academy conducts a very special summer camp designed to prepare 4 to 6-year old children for success in Trans-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or 1st grade. We call it Get Ready. Three sessions of three weeks are held each summer.
Youngsters really grow in just a few weeks
Get Ready has been our school starter program for over fifteen years and our experience is that parents are really pleased with their child’s gains, whether they have chosen to enroll their child in Mt. Helix Academy or another school. Either way, Get Ready is a good way to find out about our high-performing school where students truly love to learn.

Schedule
Session I • June 17 to July 5 (No camp on 7/4/19)
Session II • July 8 to July 26
Session III • July 29 to August 16
Camp is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Childcare for campers is available beginning at 7:00 a.m. and extends to 6:00 p.m.
Fees
Cost per Session- $700.00 (there is a 3% surcharge for credit card & debit card transactions)
“Early Bird Special”-Sign up and pay for all three sessions by May 1, 2018-cost for all three sessions is $1800.00. (That’s a $300.00 savings!)
Overtime charge of $2.00 per minute if camper is not picked up by 6:00pm.
A nonrefundable $200 deposit is due May 1 for each session, and the remaining amount is due and payable on the first day of the session. Sorry, but there are no refunds for cancellations after the first day of the session.
School calendar discrepancy
If your child’s school recesses for the summer after the start date for Session I and/or begins before the end date of Session III, you may be eligible for a pro-rated fee.
