Greetings and welcome to Mt. Helix Academy’s PTG!
Every parent who has a child at Mt. Helix Academy is a member of our Parent Teacher Group (PTG). The mission of the PTG is to promote and support the best educational environment possible for Mt. Helix students. The PTG serves to build a sense of community, to facilitate communication, to encourage volunteerism, and to raise funds to subsidize the extracurricular and classroom activities our students relish.
We know that you would love to be a more active volunteer and that you have many commitments. Our children eagerly anticipate events which foster warmth and inclusion like field trips, Jog-a-thon, the Halloween Carnival, Book Fair, Bingo Night, and Multi-Cultural Night. We have carefully selected fundraisers and activities that we believe are both practical for you and memorable for your children.
Events and activities are possible because of your participation. Your donations of time, money, food, or supplies are significant. We appreciate you!
We thank you in advance for your generous contributions of service and support. Together, as parents, teachers, administration, and staff we foster in our children a love of learning, create a culture of instruction and improvement, and steward a sense of charity, empathy, and fun. Be sure to join us for our monthly PTG meetings as well!
