Back to School — Yesss! And a Potluck too

Long-time friends together again for another exciting year at Mt. Helix Academy.

Mt. Helix Academy’s teachers and administration welcomed our new and returning students back to school on Tuesday, September 3rd. The classrooms were colorfully decorated and welcoming to our students.

We are especially excited to welcome our newest and youngest students to our Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs!

To foster family connectedness at the outset of the school year, Mt. Helix Academy’s Parent-Teacher Group hosted our annual Potluck Social during the first week of classes. We had a huge turn out of returning and new families. They gathered to chat, connect with old friends, and socialize with Mt. Helix Academy’s teachers.

Mt. Helix Academy’s Director, Mr. Collins, introduced the faculty and staff to the attending families. Everyone enjoyed the great food and dessert brought by the families. The culmination of the evening was the ever popular “make your own sundae.”
