Release of Students
Student pick-up by a person other than a parent
Please understand that the school cannot release its students to someone who is not given authority by the parent to have them or to transport them. In the event that parents cannot pick up their child from school, parents must contact the school before the time of pick-up and inform the school who will be picking up the child. That person must be at least 18 years old and must be prepared to show photo identification if s/he is not known to school personnel.
Child custody arrangements
The school will not release a student to a spouse, former spouse, or other person who the court has ordered not to have custody of the child unless the court specifically rules otherwise. The school will respond only to written court documents in such cases.
