Pull-out program for basic skills instruction
AIM HIGH’s Pull-Out Program is for Mt. Helix Academy students who require more intensive instruction in just one or two basic skills than they can be given in their regular classes. Reading, math, and spelling are the most common basic skills subjects that students require the extra assistance that is provided by the AIM HIGH Pull-Out Program. As much as possible, the necessary AIM HIGH classes are scheduled at the same time as those subjects are being taught in the regular program. This scheduling allows AIM HIGH Pull-Out Program students to participate in their other, more successful classes along with their peers.
